This carefully proportioned house sits on a beautiful level acre in the center of the Murray Hill section of Scarsdale. The quarter round zinc gutters, travertine steps and custom ironwork create the unique appearance of this house.
The rear elevation features a logia with a fireplace, groin vault ceiling and automatic screens that blend the inside spaces with the rear garden. Adjacent to the pool, we built a new cabana with a slate roof and details to match the main house.
At the interior, the stop-chamfer corners at the walls mimic plaster details found in older homes throughout Europe. All the windows are solid mahogany and tilt-turn at the second floor.
