This new 11,000-foot brick house sits on a secluded two-acre flag lot. To overcome a high water table, we elevated the house approximately six feet higher than the former structure and graded the grounds with thousands of cubic yards of earth.
The exterior of the house is brick with limestone accents. A thick slate roof, copper gutters, dentil blocks and black shutters complete the Georgian aesthetic.
Every foot of the interior is carefully designed. Eight-foot tall rift-sawn oak doors, contemporary moldings and wide plank floors are installed throughout.
The master bathroom is polished Thasos with a mosiac carerra accent. The ebony-stained library has a leather ceiling and horsehair panels.
